What should I check first in a multi-point inspection report?
I'm new to online auctions and every car has a multi-point inspection report. It's a lot to read. What sections actually matter most, and what should I be looking for as a red flag?

Focus on drivetrain condition, fluid leaks, tire tread depth, and any noted body damage. Those are the expensive things. Cosmetic scuffs are cheap to live with. A report that's vague or leaves sections blank is a bigger red flag than any specific finding.
Check for rust and undercarriage notes, especially if the car spent time up north. Surface rust is normal, frame rust is not. And always confirm the odometer reading matches the listing.
